Bake for Western Alaska!

Bake for Western Alaska!

When storms hit, Alaskans show up for each other!!

Earlier this month, a powerful coastal storm in Western Alaska — the remnants of Typhoon Halong (2025) — brought record flooding and hurricane-force winds to communities like Kipnuk and Kwigillingok. Homes were lifted off their foundations, insulation soaked, and roads washed away just as winter began to set in.

But even now, neighbors are checking on neighbors, helping each other dry out, rebuild, and move forward. Our love is unwavering when it comes to our communities!

Kindred Post Bake Sale for Western Alaska Relief

On November 15 (12–6 PM), Kindred Post in Juneau is hosting a community bake sale to raise funds for our neighbors in Western Alaska, whose villages have been deeply impacted by this recent storm.

All proceeds will go to the Western Alaska Relief Fund 2025 through the Alaska Community Foundation, directly supporting local recovery and rebuilding efforts after the storm.

How you can help:
🍪 Sign up to donate baked goods using our Google Form
💸 Make a Venmo donation and label it "Western Alaska"
🎂 Stop by and shop the bake sale — because cookies can do a lot of good.

If you can’t make it in person, share this post or tell a friend — every bit of awareness helps Alaska heal. 💛

Supporting Western Alaska, Together

At Kindred Post, we believe community care starts small: with something handmade, something shared, something that reminds us we belong to one another.

Our Bake for Alaska fundraiser is one simple way to send warmth across the miles — from our little corner of Juneauto the resilient communities of Western Alaska.

By coming together, we’re not just raising funds — we're healing our neighboring communities when they need it most!
