Botanical Craft with Juneau's Natural Elements
Workshop: Discover the magic of Alaska! This hour-long workshop, led by a local Alaskan, invites you to learn about native plants while creating a necklace, keepsake, or ornament using locally foraged materials. The Alaskan rainforest is full of magical and beautiful plants. This indoor class brings the rainforest to you, but leaves the rain outside. You were drawn to Alaska - let’s connect with the land, set some intentions, and learn together!
This workshop is suitable for anyone ages 7+. All supplies will be provided, no need to bring anything.
Workshop Leader: Caitlyn Cascade is your Forest Hostess. She’s a forager, traveler, creator, and guide. She’ll show you examples of crafts you can make yourself, and explain the magic of each element you can include in your craft.
Location: Meet in the lobby of the Senate Building (175 S Franklin Street) 5 minutes before the workshop begins. Your Forest Hostess will bring you to the workshop space. The class is indoors. Must be able to navigate a flight of stairs. You do not need to bring anything with you.
Refund Policy: Once you register and pay, you will not receive a refund if you are unable to attend.
