About the artist: Annie Brace grew up in the heart of the country, Iowa...and then followed her heart to the far north reaches of Alaska. She has lived and worked as a fine artist and Graphic Designer in Anchorage since '04.
Annie uses a variety of different media, such as watercolor, acrylics, pen & paper and digital design, with a believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to her artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style and at its own time.
Annie is surrounded by an insurmountable surplus of inspiration on a daily basis. The valleys of mountains, raging water and fresh air filter through the creative lens at lightning speed... it's hard to translate all the beauty on any given day... but she tries nonetheless!
