Christine Carpenter is a Juneau-based artist and designer. As a designer by day, works to solve problems; as an artist by night, she seeks to create a voice of impact. Exploring with a wide variety of mediums—from pen to watercolors, from words to digital illustration—this intersection of philosophies leads Carpenter’s art to be a reactionary and reflective view on the world and her emotional response to its impacts. It’s not always about the final result, but about the process the work takes to dive deeply into the feelings just beneath the surface.
