Experience Alaska’s untamed beauty through this hands-on crafting workshop. You’ll use foraged and ethically sourced natural elements to create a keepsake that holds the spirit of the land. The price is $35 for the workshop instruction and all you need to make a small keepsake jar + any optional additions you choose. The typical total price is between $50-60. No experience needed.

What do you get with the $35 registration fee?

The wildflower workshop includes 60 minutes of local information, all supplies to bring the magic of our rainforest home with you. We'll guide you through creating a custom keepsake made with locally foraged products like flower blossoms, mosses, salmon scales, and spruce tips. Touch, see, smell, and create with some of the incredible species here in this peaceful and informative experience.

Workshop Leader

Caitlyn Cascade is your Forest Hostess. She’s a forager, traveler, creator, and guide. She’ll show you examples of crafts you can make yourself, and explain the magic of each element you can include in your craft.

Where is the Workshop

The workshop is inside of Liaise Studio, which is on the second floor of the Senate Building - 175 S. Franklin Street. You’ll meet your Forest Hostess in the lobby 5 minutes before the class begins.
