Em Lang was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and grew up obsessing over animation and illustration alongside a gaggle of strong feisty women. After establishing herself in the tattooing community, she moved to Juneau in 2015 to pursue a deeper understanding of the craft, and ended up falling in love- not just with her husband Huk Yuunsk, but the community as a whole. You can catch Em wherever there’s local art or social justice driven events, and at her home shop High Tide Tattoo.
